Name of Assignment: Frankenstein Empire
Subject: Humanities

The Frankenstein Empire was a mini project that was done inside of class. This project was a group project. The main summary of the project was that each person learned about an empire and all members of the group collabed their ideas to make one empire using different elements from the different empires. So for my empire I had to educate myself on the Russian Empire. We made a slide show presentation to present to the other students.
The 21st century skill I feel like I used was Global Awareness. I used Global Awareness On this project because I took in information about other countries to successfully complete this assignment.
What I’m most proud of was probably the fact that I understood the material to the best of my ability. We had to read articles on the empire we were assigned and the article I was reading was a little tricky for me to understand. The most difficult part about completing this task was reading the article. It was hard for me to fully understand all the information that was given to me. If I started over on this assignment what I would do differently is make the slideshow less wordy. Next time I would replace long sentences with just bullet points.

Subject: World History/ Humanities
Facilitator/Teacher: Ms.Terry
In this project we learned about the decision John F. Kennedy had to make in 1962. Russia was trying to send missiles at America and John decided to send a blockade as his decision. In this assignment we had to create our own email to the president of the United States to decide how we wanted to take actions. It was a group activity to collectively write the proposition as if we were the executive committee. We also had top secret documents given to us to use to take an educated guess on what’s happening.
The 21st century skill I used was Civic Literacy and Engagement. I used this skill by displaying my ability to analyze and participate in government. In this assignment I was looking through the eyes of the executive committee and seeing what would be the best possible outcome for the American people.
What I’m most proud of was that I was able to communicate and try my best to be part of the team.
The most difficult part was really getting a grasp on the topic and truly understanding everything that was given to me. If I had to start over, what I would differently is try to understand some more details better.
